We finally got the first trailer for Venom 3: The Last Dance, and the trailer looks pretty epic and has increased the hype among fans, but the question is whether this movie will succeed or if it’ll be another disappointment for fans. Let’s find out.
Venom 3: The Last Dance: Trailer Breakdown
So first of all, Venom 3’s last dance might change something significant and important that happened in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and if it actually happens, what will be the future of MCU Spider-Man and Venom?
So in the trailer for Venom 3, the last dance starts in Mexico. We see Eddie Brock walking on the road somewhere in Mexico, and we can see something written on the wall near the road in Mexican. If we translate that into English, it says don’t get lost, which is pretty ironic since Eddie is lost in Mexico, but the point to be noted is that Eddie Brock is wearing the same clothes that he was wearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home, so the movie could actually start from where the post-credit scene ended in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Then in the next scene, we see Eddie Brock kicking a door and arriving at a place that looks like a dog shelter. Then we see an epic fighting scene where some people are attacking Eddie, then we see Eddie Brock transform into venom, then venom frees the dogs that were in cages, and then the dogs immediately start attacking people who were attacking Eddie. Then we see a funny We Are Venom scene where venom eats those four people’s heads. I guess they tried making this scene look R-rated, but as we know, it’s not because we don’t see a single drop of blood when venom eats their heads.
Then, in the next scene, the trailer picks up the pace and sees a soldier at the place, which looks like a lab, and the soldier is none other than Orwell Taylor. If you don’t know who Orwell Taylor is; don’t worry; I’m here to explain that Orwell Taylor is a pretty interesting character in Marvel comics. Orwell Taylor was one of the guards in a prison known as the Vault.
The Vault is basically a super prison for super villains, which exists in Marvel comics, but because of an incident, Orwell Taylor’s son dies because of venom, and because of that, he seeks revenge from all symbiotes. He then creates an incident where Orwell Taylor’s son dies because of venom, and because of that, he seeks revenge on all symbiotes.
He then creates a team, including other guards of the prison, known as the jury, and they also have Tony Strunk, which makes them individuals with superpower, and the job of the jury is to capture villains and judge them, which includes venom since he’s the reason this team was created in the first place, but later they start attacking spiders, thinking he’s the reason venom exists, which is pretty funny.
And I guess the jury could play a significant role in Venom 3’s last dance. Then we see the jury arriving at a facility where so many symbiotes are trapped, which is not going to end well.
Then in the next scene, we have a symbiote on a table, which is the venom-lost part. Initially, I thought that they were showing the post-credit scene of Spiderman No Way Home again in this trailer, but then we see Orwell capturing that part of venom, which makes things very confusing and changes the post-credit scene of Spiderman No Way Home. Now, the question is how this part of Venom came back from the MCU, and it could be because when Venom and Eddie came back from the MCU, and after that, this part of Venom came back as well since it’s a part of the Sony universe.
Which means that we are going to see a different venom in the MCU, which is kind of good, but let’s come back to our breakdown. Things are not looking very good for Venom and Eddie because, in the next scene, we see the Orwell team behind Eddie and Venom.
Then, in the next scene, we see Eddie in a suit arriving in Las Vegas and Venom dancing with Miss Chen. Then in the next scene, we see some meteors, and then Venom says they found me. This is because in Marvel comics, all symbiotes are connected with a planet through the hive mind, and the one who is responsible for this connection is Knull, who is basically a god of symbiotes. Don’t underestimate him; he’s as powerful as Celestial, and he could be even more powerful than them. We’ll talk about Knull in another blog, so stay tuned.
Then in the next scene, we see Venom fighting against a monster on a plane, and that monster doesn’t look like a symbiote, but venom becomes sacred after seeing that monster, and that monster looks like xenofajes, and the xenofajes are monsters who eat symbiotes. Maybe that’s why Venom was scared. Well, they don’t actually eat symbiotes, but rather they eat their hosts.
Then, in the next scene, we see Detective Mellegun trapped in a lab. He’s also a host of a symbiote known as Toxin, which is like an anti-hero in Marvel comics, and maybe somehow Orwell and his team will find out about Detective Mellegun being a host and capture him, then he’ll end up in this lab, which we saw in the trailer.
Then, at the end of the trailer, we see a venomous horse.
conclusion
So that’s it for today. I will see you in the next one.
