One Piece Chapter 1116 starts with people reacting to Vega Punk’s revelation that the three ancient weapons still exist.

Then we see Imu-sama calling Vegapunk’s name. After that, we see Igaram looking at Vivi’s missing poster.

Next, we see a panel at Nefeltari Cobra’s funeral. We see three tomoes above Cobra’s photo and two figures that resemble the Egyptian gods Anubis and Ra. The tomoe in Buddhism represents the cycle of reincarnation, hinting that Joy Boy is reincarnated as Luffy. Although it’s still unclear if Luffy is the reincarnation of Joy Boy or simply shares a similar will, we may see more about that in the future. The two figures resembling Egyptian gods represent the cycle of life and death. The figure on the left looks like Anubis, and the picture on the right looks like Ra, the sun god and god of life. These two figures metaphorically represent the ideologies of Imu and Joy Boy. This fits well since Ra is the sun god, and we know Joy Boy was the former user of the Sun God Nika fruit.

Now, let’s discuss Anubis. Anubis is primarily known as the god of mummification and the protector of the dead. He presides over the embalming process and guides souls to the afterlife.

So, what does this suggest? We now know that Joy Boy was defeated by Imu and the 20 kingdoms, and we also know that the weapon that destroyed the Lulusia Kingdom is indeed an ancient weapon. We know that Joy Boy had ancient weapons, so it could mean that when Imu defeated Joy Boy, he took the ancient weapon Joy Boy had, which was Uranus. Joy Boy might have hidden the other two weapons, which are currently on Wano and Fishman Island, as the mermaid princess Shirahoshi is Poseidon.

If this theory is true, then the tomoe is foreshadowing the original Joy Boy’s return. But how? Obviously, with the help of Gecko Moria or Big Mom if she’s still alive. If this theory of mine becomes true, then the final war will be pretty epic.

Next, we see Stussy in a situation similar to Nico Robin. They both betrayed their crewmates and, in Stussy’s case, her fellow CP-0 members.
